MCT Made In Minutes

Hiya! It's Made in Minutes Monday at MyCreativeTime. For my card I started by gold heat embossing the Grainy Wood Background. I used Ranger Super Fine Detail Gold embossing powder. I cut a circle with the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies. I die cut the deer from the Oh Deer set in the circle. I covered the deer with embossing ink and then used Wow Ultra High Gold Embossing powder on it. That embossing powder is awesome, and perfectly matches the super fine gold powder too! Score! I inlaid the deer back in the circle. 

You can see the dimension from that high embossing powder. It's really cool stuff! :) I gold heat embossed the greeting from the Winter Cheer set with the fine embossing powder.

Trick Or Treat!

Hello and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! Here's one last Halloween card for this year. Sigh. I used the Pumpkin House Die from PeachyKeenStamps. The adorable face is from the Squee Face Assortment by PeachyKeeenStamps. 

The greeting is from the Fall Face Parts Medium set by PeachyKeenStamps. And to make it extra cute, it's on a WOBBLE, so it wiggles. :)

MCT Inspiration Wednesday

Hello! It's Inspiration Wednesday at MyCreativeTime. My best friend since we were knee high to a grasshopper just had a baby girl on Monday! I've already made her a card, but I was inspired to make one for her parents. Grandparents deserve a card for all the spoiling they're gonna do! ;) I cut out my panel with the Stitched Rectangular Frames and More Dies. 

I used the tall font in the Alpha Pack to make my custom greeting. I used some K and Company patterned paper that I've had forever. For a simple embellishment, I cut out a little elephant from one of the patterns in the collections. I added a little wink of stella to her. I really like the simple modern feel to this card. :)

If a zombie chases us...

Hello! Sooooo I was playing around in Cricut Craft Room and found that I had an image set called Zombies. I never bought it, so I guess it was free? Yay! So I cut this cool guy out at 4.75 inches. I gave him the perfect face from the Zombie Face Assortment by PeachyKeenStamps. Sorry that the color is so off in these pics. Guess my camera doesn't like neon? ;) I used neon green Hero Arts ink for the hair and grass...and neon purple for the pants. I added wink of stella to his hair.  I white heat embossed the spider from the August 2014 set by PeachyKeenStamps on his shirt. 

I stamped the Cartoon Cloud Background by MyCreativeTime with soft granite Hero Arts shadow ink. I added glossy accents to the ax and his eyes. The greeting is from the Halloween Sentiments and Label set by PeachyKeenStamps...and continues on the inside...

Creeping by to say hi

Hiya! Happy Walking Dead day. :) I had some more fun playing with my Cricut. I cut this cute spider witch from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge. I gave her a face from the new Squee Face Assortment from PeachyKeenStamps. If you have either of the Create A Critter cartridges, you should get these faces! They go perfectly with them! :) 

I stamped the PeachyKeenStamps Candy Stripe Background {on sale for only $7.99!} with soft purple shadow ink to match the band on the hat. I stamped the greeting from the Trick Or Treat set by MyCreativeTime. I white stitched everything with my favorite white gel pen. And to make it more fun, the spider is on a WOBBLE so it wiggles. :)

Hello! Happy Saturday to you! I had a little fun playing with my Cricut. :) I cut this cute pumpkin witch from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge. I hid the face in Cricut Craft Room so I could add a PeachyKeenStamps face. I used the new Squee Face Assortment and the new Fall Face Parts Medium set to add the little tooth. I masked off the bottom of the tooth to make it shorter to fit in the mouth. Eek! So cute! :) 

I white heat embossed the greeting from the Trick Or Treat set by MyCreativeTime. The witchy pumpkin is on a WOBBLE so it wiggles. :)

MCT 37th Edition Release Blog Hop

Hello! You should have come from Shar's Blog, if not, head HERE to start at the beginning. For my card I have used the fabulous new Boughs Of Holly set. I turned the "boughs" in the set into feathers. :) Here's how I did it...I inked up the stamp with worn lipstick distress ink. I then pounced on spiced marmalade and picked raspberry distress markers. I then spritzed the stamp 3 times from a foot away. Then stamped it on to water color paper. Then I used a brush to swish the color around. To finish, I used the end of my paint brush to drag color up from the bottom to make the "stem/vein/i dunno". HA! I then used the coordinating dies in the new Boughs Of Holly set to cut them out. 

I used the "happy" die, also from the Boughs Of Holly set. I cut it out 5 times and glued them together. I used tarnished brass distress stain to color it. I also used that distress stain to stamp "birthday", which is also in the Boughs Of Holly set. I used the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies for my shaker window. Phew...So, do you think my "feathers" look like feathers? :)
