Have a flippin' amazing summer!

Hello! I hope you're having a flippin' awesome day! :) I had fun coloring this sweet Lulee's Swim Time stamp from PeachyKeenStamps. Isn't she adorable?! And guess what?! She is only $3.50!!! I colored her with Copics {I'll list colors below}. I made a beach for her using distress inks and water. I used antique linen for the sand, peacock feathers for the ocean, and tumbled glass for the sky. For a finishing touch on the Lulee's Swim Time girl, I added wink of stella and glossy accents to her swimmies. The greeting is from the Sit Back And Relax set by MyCreativeTime. It's just perfect because she has "flippers" on. :) I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies by MyCreativeTime.

Hello! It's Die Of The Month day at MyCreativeTime. This month it's the Stitched Capture Frame die. I've used it on this card to make a shaker. I did some masking to add the hat from the Tweet Me set to the sweet giraffe from the new Hello Baby set. I colored the party giraffe with my Copics. I stamped and cut out the "celebrate" banner from the Chalkboard Birthday set. I shaded it with Copics. I used the 3 Stitched Star Dies and stamped "you" from the Tweet Me set on the little one. I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies for the pink layer. I used the Stitched Grass Die for the grass on the shaker. The papers are from the Sugar Chic and Dreamy collections by Heidi Swapp.

Seas the day

Hello! I love getting more out of my stamps, don't you???!!! For this adorable sea turtle, I used the Dragon Family Face Assortment by PeachyKeenStamps. Yep, dragon faces! I think it makes for a pretty darn cute sea turtle! :) I used this Sea Turtle SVG from MissKateCuttables and my Cricut Explore to cut it out. I cut it from white cardstock, and used my Copics to color it. I used broken china, peacock feathers, and salty ocean distress inks to make the background. The greeting is from the Hey Sailor set by MyCreativeTime. To finish this off, I added blobs of glossy accents...they

 look like bubbles. :) OH and she is on a WOBBLE so she swims! :)

MCT 44th Edition Release Blog Hop!

Hello! You should have arrived from Lucia's Blog, if not, head HERE to start at the beginning. For my card, I used the new Wishing You Both The Best set. I stamped the flowers first and used liquid frisket to mask them off. Then I stamped the cake over them. Then I colored the cake and flowers with Copics. The greeting is also from the new Wishing You Both The Best set. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More dies for the main panel and the vellum layer. I finished it off with wink of stella and sequins.

MCT Sneaks Day 4

Hiya! It's day 4 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking a new set called Hello Baby, and the "freebie" for this release...the Baby Word Die. I used the Baby Word Die to cut fun foam to make my own stamp. I used it to stamp the background. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies to cut the panels. I used the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies and the new Bunch Of Stitched Doily Dies. I stamped the cute little elephant from the Hello Baby set, and colored him with my Copics. I added little dots to the blue parts of his ears with a white gel pen. I stamped the greeting from the new Hello Baby set on the banner from the Vintage Labels Dies.

MCT Sneaks Day 3

Hello! It's day 3 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking a new set called Already Missing You. I did some masking to make my little flock of flamingos. I snapped 2 pics of the process...Here is what it looks like after stamping and applying liquid frisket {mask}. 

And here it is after stamping the flamingos that will be in the background.

It looks like a hot mess in progress, but turns out pretty jazzy. {The liquid frisket rolls off super easily} ;) For my scene, I wanted to focus on the 2 flamingos in the front. They're "friends". :) So I colored them more dramatically. I used just 2 Copics on the other flamingos. 

I added some eyelashes to the "friends", and also added wink of stella and glossy accents to parts of them. The greeting is also from the new Already Missing You set. Oh, I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More and Stitched Oval Dies. Forgot to say that I used my Copics to color the border behind the frame.
