Hang in there and Meow Cards

Hello! Today's Stretch Your Dies class at OnlineCardClasses was about using small dies. So I got out my Stitched Hexy Dies from MyCreativeTime. For this card I started by watercoloring my panel with mustard seed, ripe persimmon, and picked raspberry Distress Inks. I cut out the hexagons with the Stitched Hexy Dies. Then I heat embossed the awesome Hexy Background from MyCreativeTime with gold embossing powder on vellum. Then I used that to back my hexagons to make little shakers. The greeting is from the new Tweet Me set from MyCreativeTime, and will be available for purchase tomorrow. :) Here is the other card I made using the leftover hexagons...
I gold embossed the kitty from the I Knead You set by MyFavoriteThings. It was cut out with the coordinating I Knead You Dies. The greeting is also from the I Knead You set.

I hope you've had a great day.

Smile

Hello! Here is my homework for today's Stretch Your Stamps 2 class. Today was about using graphic stamps. Believe it or not, I don't really have any! Gasp! HA ;) Sooooo I made due using a stencil I made with the Stitched Hexy Dies by MyCreativeTime. I inked through the stencil in a pattern I liked using Mint Julep, Soft Granite, and Charcoal Hero Arts shadow inks.
I used the Stitched Hexy Dies to cut the window for my greeting as well. I stamped the greeting from the Things I Love set by MyCreativeTime in the window with Charcoal shadow ink. To finish, I added clear wink of stella glitter pen to the soft granite hexagons...and added a few sequins.

I hope you're having a nice week so far.

Tag It Tuesday

Hello! It's Tag It Tuesday at MyCreativeTime. I've used my tags on a card. :) I used the Tag Dies to cut the big vellum tag. I actually cut two out of vellum and adhered them together at the top. I wanted it to be a little more opaque, hence the 2nd vellum tag. Then I embossed it with a cuttlebug folder.
I cut 2 tags using the Stitched Round Tab/Arrow/Tag Dies. One from patterned paper, and one from vellum. I white heat embossed the greeting from It's All About You on the vellum tag. I finished it off with some sequins. Oh, the patterned paper is the Vintage Bliss line from Simple Stories...which I love so much!!!
