Plaid Monogram

Hello! I have another plaid card today. :) I wish the Clean and Simple 3 class at OnlineCardClasses would last forever! I find it so incredibly inspiring! I again made my background by masking off stripes. I used soft pool, pool, and stonewash shadow inks. I used the dashed line stamp from the Gift Card Sentiments set by MyCreativeTime with navy shadow ink. 

I used the Lower Case Fun Dies from MyCreativeTime to cut and inlay the monogram. I went over it with a shimmer marker and coated it with glossy accents.

Thinking of You

Hello! Today I am playing along with the Little Tangles Challenge. The challenge is to continue the design from the outside of the card on the inside. Sooooo I made a window shaker. :)

I stamped the background using the On The Strip 2 set by Neat and Tangled. Then I stamped the speech bubble from the A Lot To Say set. I then cut out the middle of it by hand. I traced the opening onto my card base so the window goes all the way into the card. I stamped the greeting from the Just Thinking Of You set by Neat and Tangled. The little dots are also from that set. 

See? You can see the greeting on the inside from the outside. :) I filled my shaker window with Crystal Clear, Royally Blue, Ocean Breeze, and Summer Sky sequins from Neat and Tangled.

Can you tell I am loving the Clean and Simple 3 class at OnlineCardClasses? ;) SO FUN! Today I made a plaid pattern by using Post-It Paper for masks instead of stamping the plaid. I used bubble gum, soft cantaloupe, lemon yellow, mint julep, soft pool, and soft purple shadow inks. 

I used the Hello Chickie set by MyCreativeTime for the little chick and the greeting. That adorable face is from the Chickie Face Assortment by PeachyKeenStamps. The legs are from the April 2013 set by PeachyKeenStamps.

Hiya! For this card I used the new Never Be Lost set to make my raindrops. They are actually Geotag dies, but I immediate saw raindrops. ;) Gotta love getting more use out of your dies! I also used the fabulous Stitched Cartoon Cloud Dies.

Hiya! Here's another card using masking for Clean and Simple 3 at OnlineCardClasses. I used the Stitched 3x4 Die from MyCreativeTime to make a mask. Then I stamped the Cloudy Day Background by PeachyKeenStamps with Soft Pool Hero Arts Shadow Ink. Then while the mask was still on I sponged on some Mint Julep shadow ink. I stamped the sun from the Tropical Vacation Kitty Cat set by PeachyKeenStamps. The face on the sun is from the Kawaii Face Assortment by PeachyKeenStamps. 

The greeting is from the February 2014 set by PeachyKeenStamps. The little birdies are from the Year Four set by Lawn Fawn. The patterned papers are from the Lets Polka pad by Lawn Fawn. I drew in the line the one bird is sitting on. This was originally a true one layer card, but I fudged up the card base...so I had to salvage it. ;) AND then for fun, I made a matching envelope. :)

Thrifty Thursday

It's Thrifty Thursday over at MyCreativeTime. Today we use our scraps to make a project. I used my beloved Vintage Bliss by Simple Stories scraps to make a sunburst pattern. I love that paper soooo much! I inked up the edges of the scraps with antique linen distress ink. 

I stamped the greeting from the It's All About You set from MyCreativeTime.

Hiya! I am SO SUPER INSPIRED by the Clean And Simple 3 class at OnlineCardClasses!!!! One layer cards are so fun to make! I was on a roll and made 3 cards today! :) For this first one, I used the Vintage Labels Die from MyCreativeTime to create a mask. I inked over the Doily Flower stencil by Heidi Swapp. The greeting is from the Reverse Sentiments set by PeachyKeenStamps. I went over the greeting with a sakura clear star glitter pen. Love that pen! 

For this card I used the Stitched 3x4 Die from MyCreativeTime to create a mask. I inked over the Chevron Stencil by Heidi Swapp. I also used the 3 Stitched Stars Die by MyCreativeTime to make a star mask. The greeting is from the Circle Tab Sentiments by MyCreativeTime.

For this card I used the XL Label Die by MyCreativeTime to make a mask. I also used a circle die to mask off the center for the greeting. I inked over the Lattice stencil by Heidi Swapp. The greeting is from the It's All About You set by MyCreativeTime.
