MCT Sneaks day 4

Hello! It's day 4 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking 2 new sets. The Stitched Message Bubble Dies and the Fun Speech Bubbles. I used both sets on this card. The Stitched Message Bubble Dies for the word bubbles, and the Fun Speech Bubbles to back them. {They work together...I'm sure Emma will explain in her video} I used all the rainbow of Neon Hero Arts inks on this card. :) I rainbowed up the girl from the Stitched Restroom Peeps dies. :)
I covered the girl with my wink of stella glitter pen. To finish, I coated all my neon elements with glossy accents.

MCT Sneaks Day 3 - "Whoa Baby"

Hello! Today is day 3 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking the new Alpha Pack stamp set and Trio Stitched Banners. For my card today I started by stamping the card base with the new Grainy Wood background. {yes, woodgrain on a baby card...I'm addicted to this stamp! don't judge} For all my stamping I used pink pastel colorbox fluid chalk ink. It's really light, so a little hard to see in the pics. Sorry about that. I cut the 3x4 Jounal die...and used the baby carriage die from the Classy Girl Accessories set. I traced the opening on cardstock and glued my sequins. {My fave thing to do} :)
I cut the banner from the new Trio Stitched Banners dies. And I stamped my own greeting using the fabulous new Alpha Pack stamp sets! You NEED this set! :)

MCT Sneaks day 2

Hello! It's day 2 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today I'm sneaking 2 new sets. The Geo Borders set and Dream Bigger. For my card base, I splattered picked raspberry and squeezed lemonade distress inks and stamped over it with the new Geo Borders set. {love this set!}
For my greeting panel, I sprayed it with picked raspberry and squeezed lemonade distress reinkers and water in mini misters. I then stamped the new Dream Bigger stamp.

MCT Day 1 of Sneaks! 3 cards!

Hello! Welcome to day 1 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking 3 new items...The Grainy Wood Background, Fun Letter Background, and the Large Cloud Bubble Die. On this first card I used the Grainy Wood Background {stamped with soft brown shadow ink} and the Large Cloud Bubble Die. I used the 3x4 Journal die for my base for the scene.
I cut the sweet puppy with the Loyal Friends set. His face is also from that set. I made the grass with the Fun Stitched Edges dies. The greeting is from the Live Love Bark set. And here's my next card...
For this card I used the new Fun Letter Background. I inked it up with pale tomato, orange soda, and butter bar Hero Arts shadow inks.
I cut the window with the 3 Stitched Stars dies. The greeting is from the My Teacher Rocks set. And here is my last card for today...
For this card I white heat embossed the Grainy Wood Background. I then sprayed it with picked raspberry and squeezed lemonade reinkers and water in mini misters.
I used the Large Cloud Bubble die to cut the piece for my greeting. I used the happy die from the Happy Thoughts set. The "for you" is also from the Happy Thoughts set. I finished it off with some sequins.

Pop over to MyCreativeTime for more sneaks...but first... ;)

A card for a super boy...you can make him a card too!

Hello! I took a little break today from making sneaks for the MyCreativeTime release next week{which is super awesome by the way} to make a card for a little boy named Danny. I saw his story in a few different places online. Danny has an inoperable brain tumor and wants to receive cards...they make him smile. You can read his story HERE. I sure hope you'll consider sending him a card as well. I made this little super boy with the Create A Friend Cricut Cartridge. I cut him at 4 inches and gave him his cute face from the 1 1/8 Boy Mates faces from PeachyKeenStamps
I put him on a wobble so he wiggles/flies. The inside says, "Wishing Super Danny a super day!" I kept this really simple to make sure that "Super Danny" is the star of the card. :)

Again, you can read Danny's story HERE. Please PLEASE send him a card. :)
Here's his address

MCT Challenge

Hello! It's time for another MyCreativeTime challenge! This time we have the above photo/color palette to use as inspiration. So summery and fun! Here is my card...
I stamped the background with the Build A Chevy set in pale tomato, fresh peach, and green hills Hero Arts shadow inks. I cut the cone and scoops from watercolor paper using the Celebrate Good Times set. I colored the scoops with the same inks as the background. To finish, I added rock candy distress stickles to the scoops.

MCT Inspiration Wednesday "Hello"

Hello! It's Inspiration Wednesday at MyCreativeTime. Today I don't have a picture of my inspiration, I just wanted to make a background with masking and do a raised die cut greeting. I used the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies to cut masks from some acetate. I then created my background sponging on ink and masking as needed. {mask off the flowers after inking to add the leaves} I made the little dots using the Pretty Spring Wreaths set from MyCreativeTime. I used the following Hero Arts Shadow Inks on my card...Bubble Gum, Fresh Peach, Lemon Yellow, Mint Julep, and Passion Flower.
For my greeting, I used the Hello die from the Speech Bubble Sentiments set. I first cut it from my masked background panel. I then cut it 7 more times from white cardstock and glued them all together with the die cut from the background panel on top. This way the greeting looks like it's floating off the panel. :) To finish it off, I added glossy accents for shine.

Pop over to MyCreativeTime to see more projects.

Have a great day!

A PeachyKeen Ornament Card

Hello! I hope you're having a nice Friday thus far. For my card today I used the new set from PeachyKeenStamps called Christmas Trees And Foliage for the ornament and the sprig of greens. I stamped the foliage with green hills shadow ink. I stamped the ornament and colored it with my prismacolor pencils. Then I colored over that with my Wink Of Stella glitter marker...and over that I added glossy accents. :)
I drew in the string and bow with a black pen. And for the card base, I stamped the Candy Stripe background from PeachyKeenStamps with bubble gum shadow ink. Pssst...the Candy Stripe Background is on sale. ;)

I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

MCT Thrifty Thursday

Hello! It's Thrifty Thursday at MyCreativeTime. Today we use up our scraps. I have 2 6x6 pads of Vintage Bliss by Simple Stories paper, and I hoard every little scrap because I love it so much! :) So I used strips of scraps to make my background patterned paper. I used the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies to create the circle window. I also used the Fun Stitched Edges border dies for the scallop at the top.
I white heat embossed the greeting from the It's All About You set on vellum. If you don't have that set, you need it. ;) It's my favorite.

MCT Whatever Wednesday "Smile Shaker"

Hiya! It's Whatever Wednesday at MyCreativeTime. Today we get to make whatever we want. :) I started by cutting out the Stitched Capture Frame w/Arrow Die to make my shaker window. I water colored it with spun sugar, worn lipstick, and picked raspberry distress inks.  I cut the Smile out of it using the Happy Thoughts set. I backed it with gold paper I made with distress stain. I white heat embossed the greeting also from the Happy Thoughts set.
I made the gold stars with the 3 Stitched Star Dies. I used gold lame Heidi Swapp color shine to make the splatters. I filled my shaker with sequins, and bam! Card done. :)

MCT Made in Minutes "Hello"

Hiya! It's Made in Minutes day at MyCreativeTime. My card today came together really quickly. I started by using the Bunch of Fun Circles dies to create my shaker window. Then I glued 6 layers of the Hello die from the Speech Bubble Sentiments set together to make it thick. I wasn't able to get a good photo, but I alternated blue and yellow under the white "hello" to match the sequins I chose. Looks cool in real life. :)
To finish, I mounted my shaker panel and added glossy accents to the hello die cut.

I hope you have a great day!

PeachyKeen Snow Girl :)

Hello! Today I made a card with the adorable new Snow Hugs Snowman from PeachyKeenStamps. I stamped her with Charcoal Hero Arts Shadow Ink. Did you know that Shadow Inks are waterproof? Yep, they are! :) I water colored her with distress markers.
I added stickles to her hat and mittens. TIP: Use a paintbrush to add stickles with precision. :) All the patterned papers are by Lawn Fawn.

The stamp I used on this card along with the entire July release {minus the stamp of the month set} is ON SALE at PeachyKeenStamps! Also, check out the Specials for this month! Lots of great Christmas stamps for great prices! :)

I hope you have a lovely evening!

MCT Tag It Tuesday "You are a lifesaver"

Hello! It's Tag It Tuesday at MyCreativeTime. I put my tag on a card. :) I used the Tag Dies to make my tag. I then embossed it. Love THIS folder. I used the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies to create my lifesaver. I cut the ring twice so I could make the little blue pieces. {sorry, don't know how to describe that. lol} I used the Stripey Background with Stone Wash Shadow Ink. {same ink used on lifesaver}
I inked up the starfish die cut from the Surf's Up set with Scattered Straw and Wild Honey distress inks. I then covered it with Clear Wink of Stella for shine. I stamped the greeting from the Lost At Sea set with the same Stone Wash Shadow Ink. I finished if off with some sequins. :)

A campin' raccoon card and SALE ALERT!!! :)

Hello! Happy 4th of July to you!!! Are you camping for the 4th? Well, my sweet Peachy raccoon is having a grand ole time camping and making smores for the 4th. :) I used the fabulous May 2014 set by PeachyKeenStamps for my card today. I stamped the fire and raccoon from the May 2014 set and used my Prismacolor colored pencils to color them. Then I fussy cut them out. Here's a TIP...I added glossy accents to the branch the raccoon is holding after I cut it out. Glossy accents gives it some strength so it won't rip or break. :)
I used the Stitched Grass Die from MyCreativeTime for my grass. I colored it with Shabby Shutters and Crushed Olive distress inks. For my sky I used Broken China, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, and Dusty Concord distress inks. I love how the night sky turned out. :) The greeting is also from the May 2014 set from PeachyKeenStamps.

Have a safe and happy 4th!

MCT Thrifty Thursday "Best Wishes"

Hello! It's Thrifty Thursday at MyCreativeTime. Today we use scraps or leftovers to create a project. For my card today I used a piece of watercolor paper I had laying on my desk. I used the Build A Pretty Flower set from MyCreativeTime to make my flowers. I wanted a messy-ish watercolor look. I inked up my stamps with Picked Raspberry and Ripe Persimmon Distress Inks. I then misted the stamps with water from about a foot away 3 times. {too many mists and it gets way messy}
I stamped the outlines of the flowers from the Build A Pretty Flower set, but I stamped them wonky for a more artsy look. I stamped the stems and leaves and free hand painted in the leaves with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. I painted in the flower centers with Mustard Seed Distress Ink. The greeting is from the fabulous new set called You Are Fabulous

Have a great day!

MCT Whatever Wednesday "Happy Birthday"

Hello! Today is Whatever Wednesday at MyCreativeTime. Today is the day we get to make whatever our little hearts desire. :) For my card today I used the Pretty Spring Wreaths set by MyCreativeTime. I stamped the actual wreath part with Green Hills Shadow Ink. I stamped each of the flowers with Bubblegum, Fresh Peach, and Soft Cantaloupe Shadow Inks. I fussy cut them out and placed them around the wreath.
I stamped the greeting from the Floral Sentiments set with Bubblegum Shadow Ink.

I hope you have a great day!

♥ Nikki ♥

p.s. I used the Candy Stripe background from PeachyKeenStamps on the card base.
