hello! happy monday to you...my friend Beca and her hubby found out that they are expecting bundle of joy number two....so i just had to make her a card. ;o) i picked up the "new arrival" cricut cartridge on friday on sale for 39$ at AC Moore! it is really a cute cartridge...has the most adorable lil' monkey ever!!! and it has a cute flower and butterfly, so even if you don't have kids in your life i think it's still worth having...although i am admittedly a cartridge hoarder, so maybe not! LOL i crack me up. ;o)anyhoo i also used the paisley cuttlebug embossing folder i picked up friday too...i LOVE it!!! the border punch is Martha Stewart...i think it's called doily lace...well thanks for taking a lil' look-see at my card...i hope you have a fabulous day!!!!

hello and happy friday everyone! my family got some bad news yesterday...my uncle passed away, so here is my "scrap therapy" for the day...;o) nothing like some adorable cherries to cheer ya up eh?! i had a lot of fun crocheting the cherries in the center of this layout...i just kinda winged it, but i think that they did turn out cute!
the photo's are of baby me and my big brother in 1980...all the paper and embellies (other than the crochet) are the "lemonade line" from Basic Grey...which is my all time favorite company!!! and this line is just sooooooooooooooooooooooo stinkin' cute!!! i can't wait to get my hands on their new fall releases...stayed tuned for some cutesy halloween stuff ;o)
well i hope that you all have a FABULOUS weekend!
scrapserely yours, Nikki ;o)

hi and happy thursday! so i made this card while i was waiting for "my pink stamper" to post today's challenge on her site...turns out i made exactly what i would have made had i known what the challenge was! the challenge was to make something that you love...and i LOVE butterflies, dcwv glitter cardstock, and my cuttlebug! and this card had all three of those things! LOL
i cut the butterfly from my brand new "Hannah Montana" cartridge...and used the "swiss dots" embossing folder. thanks for looking. hope you're having a great day!

hello and happy wednesday! these are the cards i came up with for today's challenge over on "my pink stamper"...the challenge was to make something school related...i used the "doodlecharms" cricut cartridge to cut the bus and backpack...they were both cut at 3 inches...just a few really simple cards to send to a few special kiddos...i hope you're having a wonderful day!
oooooooooooooooh guess what?! i got the "hannah montana" cricut cartridge in the mail today!!!!!! i'm sooooooooooooo excited to start playing with it! it has a AWESOME font and super cool shapes too! a few butterflies that are just to die for! so keep your eyes peeled to see what my Expression and me come up with! ;o)

the challenge was to take a product that you "HAD TO HAVE" at one point and use it. for me that product was this stamp set! i got this all the way back in 1999 and honestly i think i used it once (do you do that to? sigh)...so it was neat to dig this set out and actually use it...
i used the "Stand and Salute" cricut cartride to cut the scalloped edge. LOVE THAT CARTRIDE! this is just a really simple halloween card...i added diamond stickles to the spiderwebs and edges of my stamped letters...anyhoo, thanks for lookin! i hope you're having a great day!

Hello everyone!!! i hope your week is off to a great start! it is yet another gloomy/stormy day here in Jacksonville Florida...so to counteract the gloom i made a couple cheery cards today! (take that gloomy day!)
i can not believe i waited sooooooooooooooo long to buy the "hello kitty greetings" cricut cartridge!!! it is absolutely chock full of adorable images! if you do not own this cartridge i HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting it!
to make these cards i used the "fit to page" button to make them as big as my cricut expression would let me...they're a pretty decent size...the CAR card cut at 4.5 inches...the CHERRY card cut at 6.25 inches...the sentiment inside the CAR card is "just driving by to say hi"...the sentiment in the CHERRY card is "cherry good wishes"...the bling on the cherry card is "diamond" stickles
well i hope i have inspired you to get out your cricut and play with "hello kitty greetings"...or if you don't have it...inspired you to go pick it up! i know, i know...i am the worst ENABLER ever! hahaha.
HAPPY MONDAY TO YOU ALL!!!
